In short

Documents

Files (PDFs and photos) and their cards (title, type, date, clinic, doctor, tags, notes) are stored in the app's storage on your device. If you sign in with Google, the app also saves them to a “Медкарта” folder in your Google Drive so they are available on your other devices and don't get lost. The Medkarta developers have no access to your device storage or your Google Drive.

Google user data

Medkarta requests the following Google permissions:

How we use it. Your name, email and photo are used only to show which account you're signed in with and are stored only on your device. Drive access is used only to save your documents and their index file to your own Drive, and to read them back so they sync between your devices.

Storage and sharing. Google user data is processed only on your device and between your device and Google. It is never sent to Medkarta's servers, never shared with or sold to third parties, never used for advertising, and never used to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning models.

Retention and deletion. Your name and photo are removed from the device when you sign out; your email address stays on the device so the app can warn you if you sign in with a different account. Uninstalling the app removes everything from the device. Your documents stay in your Drive until you delete them. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Medkarta's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Anonymous statistics

To count users, once a day the app sends a random install number, the platform and the app version. No documents or personal data are sent; records are deleted after 400 days.
